I REALLY LOVE YOUR shading technic!
I tired to teach my self, but I cant relax and I don't know how to do it.
Cross hatching is hard! Do you have any tips?

i feel you. but you can relax. your trying to cross hatch when that isnt what you need to do. crosshatching is just the result of scribbled shading lines intersecting. if you look closely, i scribble in curves shapes and different directions until i get the right form. it isnt just x pattern shading like some artist. try practicing with som random shapes. try to loosin up. you get the hang of it

I will try to relax then. Shading is so hard, when you are nervous and stiff.

Do you do any daily exercises to loosing up?
It feels like I am going to understand this kind of shading maybe in 2 years later or so lol

sure, try to combine scribbles with lines to make your pose. then try the same for eyes and lips. dont worry about what it looks like. this is just a warm up. another thing you can do is, try your sketchy scribbles in light blue color pencil, then come back with pencil and the pen until its refined to your liking. once you have it, you wont have to scribble on differnt layers of color, but for now it helps

the Result is way better than yesterdays poses

I will buy a blue pencil soon and I will just practice daily and we will see where I end up lol
